About District 401


Welcome to Elmwood Park Community Unit School District 401, where our vision is to inspire minds in the pursuit of excellence.

District 401 serves the residents of Elmwood Park, Ill., a Near West suburb of Chicago with a population of approximately 24,000. Our five schools provide a comprehensive public education to more than 2,800 students in grades pre-K through 12.
