Our second quarter is coming to an end on January 16th.  Please remember that you can always check your child's progress on K-12 Planet throughout the year.  Report cards will go home with students on January 23rd.

Elmwood students will ring in the holiday season with two performances in December in Elmwood's gym.  Our Annual Holiday Band Concert will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 8th, as our 5th and 6th grade band students show off their talent.  Our second performance is a holiday vocal performance by our 1st through 4th grade students on Monday, December 15th at 7 p.m.  Please consider joining us!

Elmwood students can shop with their classmates at Santa's Secret Workshop from Tuesday, Dec. 2nd through Thursday, Dec. 4th.  Children can pick that perfect gift for the price they want, as there will be a large variety of gifts in different price ranges to choose from.  As classroom visits are sheduled each day, be sure to ask your child which day their teacher has chosen to visit Santa's Workshop.

Elmwood School will join schools around the nation to celebrate American Education Week November 17th - 21st.  There will be activities throughout the week for students, parents and teachers as we focus upon the importance of a quality public education.  Be sure to check the Elmwood Express for details!

Elmwood's parent conferences are scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 6th.  Please contact your child's teacher to schedule an appointment.  We hope to see you here!
