Elmwood Park Community Unit School District #401's Online Application Process

To establish a complete pre-employment file, please complete the online application and download the requested documents listed. We are not accepting hard copy and emailed resumes. Your application will be retained in active status for one school year. We use the Applitrack online application system, so you will be able to upload transcripts, letters of recommendation, and application information that may be on file at other districts. If your qualifications meet our needs, we will contact you for further information and a possible interview.
To apply for custodial positions, please come in to the District Office.

Substitute Teachers  - The District is currently not accepting any new applications.

must have a valid Illinois teaching or substitute certificate registered in the District's region. Please bring in a copy of the following documents: your online certification and registration page from the Educator Certification System (ECS), State ID, Social Security Card, the Substitute Authorization Form and the state required additional documents in a sealed approved envelope from the Regional Office of Education. The District can assist candidates in obtaining the background check. The fee is $35.
