Parent Roadmaps to Common Core


The Council of the Great City Schools, a national organization composed of 68 large city school districts, has put together “roadmaps” that provide guidance to parents about the Common Core State Standards.

These documents outline for parents what their children will be learning in English language arts and mathematics under the Common Core — and how parents can support that learning.

Roadmaps are available for each grade level from kindergarten to 12th grade. Elmwood and John Mills Elementary School parents can find downloadable PDF versions of the documents for grades 1-6 at the links below.
