EPHS Construction Project
Keeping the Elmwood Park Community Informed of Our School's Construction Progress
Major changes are on the way for Elmwood Park High School's Large Group Instruction (LGI) Room on the first floor and the school's library on the second floor.
Beginning over spring break and extending into the 2023-24 school year, crews will be transforming both areas into new office and learning spaces.
Construction will get underway on March 25, 2023, to take advantage of students and staff being on break. Work will continue through the fall of 2023, with an anticipated completion date of early December 2023.
Project Overview
The construction company will be staging in the District Office parking lot (northeast section of the high school) and will be fencing off a secure area to work behind.
A construction barrier wall will be set up around the LGI, which will allow for the construction crew to renovate the building and be completely separated from the students and staff while school is in session.
All construction workers will have a background check and be badged to work on school grounds.
During the construction project, student and staff parking and entrance procedures will remain the same (other than no access to the District Office parking lot).
