Students and parents got a head start on holiday decorations when they took part in "Winter Crafts," the Early Childhood Center's most recent family event.

All ECC families were invited to the activity, which took place in the school's all-purpose room on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Participants spent the better part of an hour constructing cotton-ball penguins and making candy canes out of pipe cleaners and beads.

Afterward, students gathered to listen to a reading of the children's book "Tacky the Penguin."
