Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee
If you are the parent of an English Learner, you are invited to participate in the District 401 Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (BIPAC).
What Is BIPAC?
BIPAC is a parent organization for our English learners and bilingual students. Our activities include the following:
► We provide guidance for District 401's bilingual program.
► We meet to plan parent evenings.
► We provide information regarding the English learner program for the D401 community
BIPAC's goals are to:
► Advocate for students in the bilingual and EL programs in District 401.
► Help make decisions regarding the bilingual and EL programs in District 401.
► Connect with other parents in District 401.
► Support the academic achievement of your student(s) by attending workshops, conferences and other events for bilingual parents.
BIPAC meets four times a school year.
The first meeting of the 2018-19 school year took place on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the John Mills Elementary School library.
The most recent meeting was held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Elmwood Elementary School library.
