Activities & Events

Student life at Elm Middle School is marked by busy schedule of organized activities and events outside the classroom.

Award assemblies, for example, give students a chance to be recognized for their achievements in academics and sports, while special assemblies bring guest speakers to Elm on a variety of topics.

Dances, usually sponsored by our parent organization, Parents and Teachers (PAT), are popular occasions for students to socialize in a fun and safe environment.

Field trips take our students off campus so they can approach some of their objects of study from a different angle. Likewise, special events such as Civil War Day provide a different angle on our curriculum, but usually they take place on campus rather than off.
