Scholastic Bowl Overview

How quickly can you answer questions that test how much you know about a variety of academic subjects? That's the challenge of Scholastic Bowl, a general knowledge quiz in which students from area schools compete to buzz in first to answer questions and earn points for their teams.

Students must try out to earn a spot on Elm Middle School's Scholastic Bowl teams (6th/7th grade and 8th grade).

Scholastic Bowl season runs concurrently with the girls basketball season. Tryouts and initial practices take place in late January. The season starts in February and concludes in March.
