Elm recently held its annual Winter Concert in front of an audience of enthusiastic family members and friends. The show featured performances by the Elm Choir under the direction of Mr. Michael Popplewell and by the Elm Concert Band under the direction of Mr. Kyle Rhoades.
Four members of District 401's first Special Olympics team recently participated in the squad's debut event, a Special Olympics Illinois basketball skills competition in Hoffman Estates. The students put their hoops talents to the test in shooting, passing and dribbling.
The 2019 EPHS Fall Musical, "Once on This Island," wowed audiences for three shows in early November. Featuring a stellar cast and crew led by senior Elizabeth Ruiz-Goranson as Ti Moune, the production gave everyone involved the opportunity to put their talents on full display.

The 2018-19 concert season began in impressive fashion Oct. 4 with the annual Kaleidoscope Concert at Elmwood Park High School. The Elm and EPHS choirs led by Mr. Michael Popplewell and the EPHS Marching Tigers directed by Mr. Kyle Rhoades put on a show to remember.

More than 100 parents and students turned out for District 401's STEMscopes Parent & Community Night, held Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Elm Middle School. The event gave attendees a chance to learn more about the District's science curriculum for grades K-8.
