Re: Resources for Talking to Students About Race

An extension of my previous communication on addressing racism, injustice and equity, this letter has a number of resources for families to engage in conversations about these topics.

► RESOURCES FOR DISCUSSION FACILITATION

► BOOKS

We will continue to share additional information in the coming days and weeks about how District 401 can and will be advocating for equity, anti-racism and pursuing racial justice that involves students, parents, educators and community members. As always, I am available by phone 708-583-5831, by email at waden@epcusd401.org and for any in-person meeting to actively listen on how best to do so.

Sincerely,

Dr. Nicolas D. Wade
Superintendent of Schools
