Common Core Roadmaps for Parents

The Council of the Great City Schools, a national organization composed of 68 large city school districts, has put together “roadmaps” that provide guidance to parents about the Common Core State Standards.

These documents outline for parents what their children will be learning in English language arts and mathematics under the Common Core — and how parents can support that learning.

Roadmaps are available below in English and Spanish for each grade level from kindergarten to 8th grade, and collectively for high school grades 9 to 12. To see the roadmaps applicable to your children, click the relevant sections below.
