With everyone back in the building this year, Elementary Elementary School celebrated Halloween 2021 with a K-5 costume parade. Happy Halloween!
District 401's annual Band Festival Concert took place Feb. 27 at EPHS. The evening included performances by musicians from both elementary schools.
Kate Kondela, a 4th grader at Elmwood Elementary School, won the 2020 Elmwood Park District 401 Spelling Bee on Tuesday, Jan. 14. The contest, which took place in a packed Elmwood gym, featured 22 of the best spellers from the District's two elementary schools.

More than 100 parents and students turned out for District 401's STEMscopes Parent & Community Night, held Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Elm Middle School. The event gave attendees a chance to learn more about the District's science curriculum for grades K-8.
Anastasia Prodanchuk, an Elmwood 6th grader, finished as runner-up to Andrew Ticao, a John Mills 6th grader, in the 2018 District 401 Spelling Bee on Jan. 19. The contest, hosted by Elmwood, featured more than 30 students from Mills and Elmwood Elementary Schools, each of whom demonstrated their impressive spelling skills.
