Our Schools


District 401's schools provide a comprehensive, standards-based public education to more than 2,800 students in pre-kindergarten (PK) through 12th grade:

Our schools serve the residents of Elmwood Park, Ill., a Near West suburb of Chicago with a population of about 25,000. All students must be residents of Elmwood Park.

*PLEASE NOTE: Assistant Principal Stephanie Dornan will serve as interim principal through June 30, 2023. The position of interim assistant principal will be filled by English Department Curriculum Leader Christina Heinen through Feb. 20, 2023, and by Dean of Students Agnes Stankiewicz from Feb. 21 to June 30, 2023.

**PLEASE NOTE: Ms. Stankiewicz's position as dean will be filled jointly by Social Studies Department Curriculum Leader Anthony Sylvester (sylvestera@epcusd401.org) and ISS Supervisor Thomas Lentine (lentinet@epcusd401.org) through Feb. 20, 2023, and then full time by Mr. Lentine from Feb. 21 to June 9, 2023.
