School Fees Waiver

NOTE: This page has been updated with forms and information for the 2020-21 school year.

You may be eligible for a waiver of your school fees depending on your household income.

As stated in Section 4:140 of the Board of Education's District Policy Manual, a student shall be eligible for a fee waiver when the student currently lives in a household that meets the same income guidelines, with the same limits based on household size, that are used for the federal free meals program.

Refer to the section below titled "Income Eligibility Requirements" to see if you are eligible under the federal guidelines. Then check the remainder of this page for additional information and guidance about District 401 fee waivers.

Not sure if your family is eligible for a fee waiver? The following chart shows the income eligibility guidelines for the 2020-21 school year. These are the same figures used to determine eligibility for free meals.
