The process to enroll your child as a kindergarten student in District 401 for the 2021-22 school year has begun! Enrollment in full-day and half-day kindergarten is open to all Elmwood Park children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2021.
Please note that all students must be Elmwood Park residents.
LINQ Online Registration System
Beginning this year, the enrollment process for District 401 students will be done online using the LINQ registration system:
For instructions on how to use LINQ to register your child, please use this document:
When you arrive at the LINQ site, create an account and follow the instructions. There is no need to visit your child's school to register for 2021-22. The entire process of proving residency and submitting required information will be done through the LINQ system. Payment of school fees will continue to be done through the District's webstore.
Full-Day Kindergarten in District 401
When you begin the LINQ process, you will be asked whether you want to enroll your child in full-day or half-day kindergarten. The full-day program is offered at both of our elementary schools: John Mills (north of the railroad tracks) and Elmwood (south of the tracks).
