Elmwood Park High School's Daily Bulletin is read over the intercom each school day during lunch. An edited version of the most recent bulletin will be posted on this page the same day the original script is read. In addition, the bulletin is available on PowerSchool daily.

► Cheer Tryouts | Update

This is a reminder that cheer tryouts start today after school in the East Gym! Contact Ms. Shafer with any questions.

► Football | Manager Opportunities

Do you like filming or taking pictures? Do you want to get more involved but don't know where to start? Do you really like football and want to get closer to the action? Well, football is looking for people interested in being managers for next football season. We have multiple different things that we could use your help with, from filming to hydration. If you are interested, please contact Coach Mack, Ostrander or Fioritio for more information.

► Summer School | Registration

Attention all students interested in summer school: Are you looking to get ahead or to make up credits? Applications for the 2019 EPHS Summer Academy are now available in the Counseling Office and online. Please stop in to see your counselor for details.

► Track & Field | Boys | Sectional Results

On Friday, May 17, on our home track for the first time in school history, the boys track & field team finished second as a team in the IHSA 2A sectional meet, with 84 points. Highlights includes:

  • 4x800m Relay — Senior Tyler Ocampo, sophomore Kamil Kotarski, senior Khris Vicencio and senior Carlos Sanchez were sectional champs and state qualifiers, running the 15th best time (8:25.38) in the state for 2A!
  • 800m Run — Carlos Sanchez won his second sectional championship and state-qualifying event of the night!
  • High Jump — Sophomore Jesse Rios took second and qualified for the state meet.
  • Pole Vault — For the second year in a row, two Tiger pole vaulters qualified for the state meet, with senior James Coleman placing first and senior Julian Rivera second.

The Tigers travel to Eastern Illinois University later this week for the state meet.

► Track & Field | Boys | Track Clean-up

All boys track & field team members need to come to track clean-up today right after school.

► Volleyball | Girls | Meeting

Attention, all girls volleyball players: Anyone interested in trying out for the girls volleyball team in the fall, please come to an interest meeting in the Main Gym at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 23. Information about summer camp and tryouts will be shared. Following the meeting, we will hold an optional open gym until 5 p.m. See you there!

► Wrestling | Meeting

Wrestling will have a meeting after school on Wednesday, May 22, in the wrestling room to discuss this summer's wrestling camp schedule and match night schedule. We will also be rolling out the mats for the summer. Any questions, please see Coach Posmer.
