► Basketball | Girls | Game Recap


Last night the varsity girls basketball team got its second win of the season, this time 45-23 over Pritzker. It was a solid team win led by seniors Emmie Larson, who finished with eight points and five assists, and Kersten Brayton, who scored eight points. Junior Dora Dill came up huge on the boards, getting 10 rebounds and scoring six points. The ladies go up against Ridgewood tonight at 7. Come out and support your Lady Tigers!


► Coaches Excellence Award | Fall Season


Congratulations to Devin Schmit, who was awarded the Coaches Excellence Award for the fall season! Nominees are voted on by all head coaches for their athletic accomplishments and character.


► College Rep Visit | Concordia University


A representative from Concordia University will be here during academic lab Tuesday, Nov. 20. Concordia is a small university located in River Forest. The school offers programs in criminal justice, journalism, early childhood education, social work and nursing, to name a few. To learn about these and other programs, please report to the science amphitheater after announcements. Seniors or juniors planning to attend or apply to Concordia should participate.


► EPHS Alum Visit | Michael Matos, Class of 2018


Students who are interested in science, technology, engineering or mathematics careers should report to the science amphitheater after announcements during academic lab on Monday, Nov. 19, to hear from 2018 EPHS graduate Michael Matos about his experience studying engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Any and all are welcome; please bring any questions you have about college life and STEM.

► Varsity Club | Meeting


Varsity Club will meet on Monday, Nov. 19, at 3 p.m. to finalize the Turkey Trot. All members are needed.


► Varsity Club | Thanksgiving Tournament


All Varsity Club members: Check our Google Classroom and sign up to volunteer for the Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament. All members are expected to sign up for one time period.
