The Elmwood Park High School Choir Program's 2021 Holiday Concert took place on Wednesday, Dec. 8, in front of an enthusiastic audience of family and friends.

Under the direction of guest conductor Mr. Kyle Rhoades, the show featured performances by the school's Concert Choir, Chorale, Swing Choir and Combined Choirs. Ms. Jennifer Aldrich accompanied on the piano. Mr. Rhoades filled in for Choir Director Mr. Grant McEachern. 

The Concert Choir's program featured solos by Isaiah Rodriguez and Julia Seabron on "Over the Rainbow," as well as a duet by Kayla Kobylanski and Mya Calderon on "Let It Snow, Let It Snow."

The Chorale featured percussion by Isabella Butler and Destiny Velazquez on "Ding Dong Merrily on High." The group's performance of "The Mountains Are Calling Me" included descant by Isabella Butler, Xiomara Nieto, Zoe Rice and Olivia Shipinski, and glockenspiel by Isabella Butler.

The Swing Choir's rendition of "O Holy Night" included solos by Mark Klockenkemper and Alanis Rivera and a duet by Delilah Quintanar and Michelle Soto. "Better Days" featured solos by Lucy Afryl, Kristina Gazivoda and Aleena Moore. Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" was performed by Delilah Quintanar and Michelle Soto. 

The Combined Choirs performed "Betelehemu," a Nigerian carol, with percussion by Lucy Afryl, Xiomara Nieto, Alanis Rivera and Roy Zuniga.

As the show drew to a close, EPHS alumni were invited to the stage to join the Combined Choirs in singing "Silent Night." Thanks to everybody who filled the EPHS auditorium in support of our amazing student musicians!
