About John Mills Elementary School

Welcome to John Mills Elementary School, home of the Trojans! You can reach us by phone at 708-452-3560 or by email at millsinfo@epcusd401.org.

Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, except when school is closed due to holidays or breaks.

Please note that during 2022-23 each Monday will be an early release day for students, with dismissal at 2 p.m. For more information about entrance and dismissal times, visit our School Hours page.

From Preschool to 5th Grade

Located in the Near West Chicago suburb of Elmwood Park, Ill., John Mills Elementary provides a comprehensive, standards-based public education to students in pre-kindergarten (PK) through 5th grade as part of Elmwood Park Community Unit School District 401.

Along with Elmwood Elementary, we are one of the District's two elementary schools, and we are the only D401 school that teaches preschool students.

Our final total enrollment for 2021-22 was 671 students.*
