Positive Health Services in partnership with CCDPH is hosting free COVID-19 vaccination events in August and September for District 401 students 12 years and older.
District 401 families: You can sign up your students 12 years and older to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine at Elm Middle School next week and in early June.
For students 16 and older, the Pfizer COVID vaccine is now available at West Leyden High School from April 30 to June 30. Check inside for details on signing up.
District 401 is planning for 2021-22 with a focus on what can be done to ensure a safe in-person return for all students. Help includes one-time federal grant money.
Changes released in joint guidance from ISBE and the Illinois Department of Public Health will allow us to start the transition toward a pre-pandemic environment.
The next phase of the Hybrid Learning Plan will take effect April 6. Please submit your learning preference survey by Feb. 26 to choose the plan you want for your student(s).
At the Feb. 17 Board of Education meeting, the District will present a plan to offer more in-person instructional time for students. A town hall will follow on Feb. 18.
In Dr. Gauthier's latest update: Safety measures are in place for Step 4 hybrid learning, an early release day is coming up soon, and don't plan on snow days this year.
If your student has opted for hybrid learning Step 3 or Step 4, please be aware that all hybrid students must certify their health status by using the CrisisGo screener.
Due to the District's move to hybrid learning, students in grades K-5 who chose the remote option will have a new daily learning schedule beginning on Jan. 19.
