Digital Resources at EP Public Library

District 401's curriculum resources aren't the only digital learning materials available for free to our students. The Elmwood Park Public Library (EPPL) provides 24-hour access to an extensive array of digital resources.

This digital library includes downloadable e-books, audiobooks, digital magazines and even streaming video. Students can read, listen and watch at home or on the go using a tablet, smartphone or computer.

All of the EPPL's digital resources are listed at this link:

Summer Reading Program

EPPL's 2020 Summer Reading Program runs from June 1 to July 31.

For the first time ever, you will be able to log your summer reading through a fun new online service called Beanstack, accessible through EPPL's website and an easy-to-use app.

All ages are invited to read and earn prizes all summer long. The library has summer reading programs for all ages ranging from babies to adults:

Do you prefer to do summer reading the old fashioned way? Sign up by phone at 708-453-7645 or by email at The EPPL staff will take down your information and let you know the first goal for your age group. Inform the library as you achieve your goals, and the staff will update your progress and enter you for prizes!

Access to EPPL Digital Collections

Don't currently have a library card and want to access the EPPL's digital resources? Click the following link:

The temporary card will enable students to use EPPL's digital collections, but it will not allow them to check out physical books.

In addition, for students who currently have fines of more than $100 on their regular library cards, the temporary card gives them digital access as well.

Please note that students under 13 will need a guardian to fill out the registration form.
