In front of a lively audience of parents, staff and community members, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Nicolas Wade gave his first annual State of the District presentation on Thursday, April 19, at EPHS.

"Moving Forward" was the title of the address, and that certainly summed up the message conveyed throughout the evening.

Dr. Wade discussed proactive steps being taken in the areas of District 401 finances, buildings and grounds, technology, curriculum and instruction, student services and intergovernmental relations.

A question-and-answer session followed the address as audience members asked about such issues as the District budget, special education services and possible changes to the bell schedule at EPHS and Elm Middle School.
