Re: Remote Planning Day

The learning plan update was shared with the Board of the Education at the Committee of the Whole meeting this past Wednesday. After considering all that the District has done to be able to provide a safe environment for staff and students and weighing the impact of remaining fully remote on students and families, the Board decided it was best to begin our hybrid plan.

Although this is different from our original plan set in the fall, we are adapting to new information learned throughout this pandemic as well as the governor deeming that schools are essential businesses.

To support our teachers and staff with the change to hybrid learning we will have a remote planning day for them. This day will be a non-student attendance day, and it will be scheduled as follows:

  • Friday, Jan. 15, will be a non-student attendance day for students in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 19, will be a non-student attendance day for high school students.

If you have any questions about remote or hybrid learning please reach out to your building principal. We will continue to share information and have everything posted on our Learning Update Center page on our website.
