Re: Updated Hybrid Information

As we wrap up our third week of having students back into the building, I wanted to give you an update on what our next steps are with our hybrid planning.

Starting next week, building principals will be reaching out to current remote families to allow them to opt into our current hybrid schedule starting on March 8, if they would like. Families will have until Feb. 16 to decide if they would like to opt their student into this learning environment.

During the Feb. 17 School Board meeting, the District and building administration will present a plan to offer additional in-person time for our students.

We know there is a lot of planning with a new schedule and logistics. Due to this, the plan is to start the new schedule on April 6.

There will be a live town hall for families to hear about the updated plan in greater detail on Thursday, Feb. 18. After the town hall there will be a survey for families to complete if they would like their student to take part in the updated hybrid learning environment or remain fully remote.

If you have any questions about remote or hybrid learning, please reach out to your building principal. We will continue to share information and have everything posted on our Learning Update Center page on our website. Stay safe and stay warm!

Sincerely,

Dr. Leah Gauthier
Superintendent of Schools
