Thursday, April 2 was a big day for Elm Middle School, as they hosted their annual talent show! This show was one to remember, with acts ranging from speed typing to waltz dancing. Some standout acts included student David Robledo Avila’s rendition of “My Way” by Frank Sinatra (pictured in the article’s featured photo), 8th grader Yuriy Strogush’s performance of “Welcome to Paradise” by Green Day, spirited routines from Elm’s cheer and pom teams, and a few unforgettable performances from Elm staff members.

Another fan favorite was a group performance of Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might” by student David Melendez and The Palm Boys. This performance energized the crowd, with students and families cheering so loudly that it was hard to hear the music!

The talent show closed out with a heartfelt performance of the song “Don’t Stop Believin’” by health teacher Gina Cannici. The performance featured staff members playing bucket drums while wearing light-up headbands, and the audience couldn’t help but sing and dance along.

A huge shoutout goes out to everyone involved! What an incredible showcase of all of the wonderful students and staff we have here at 401.
